It’s been a while since I updated, but some of you might remember when I made a pledge to read the rest of the books in my TBR pile before the end of the year. Well, I got lazy and life got in the way, so unfortunately I didn’t get to read all the books on my list.
But just because I didn’t get to it doesn’t mean that I should give up! I’m going to start with a monthly TBR list of 3-4 books and hopefully I can work through the rest of them. Feel free to read along with me!
This month I’m reading mostly YA contemporary because that’s what I’m editing/revising right now. I finished drafting my second book on December 28, 2017 and this month and probably most of next month I’m going to edit and revise it. The goal is to read in the genre in which I’m writing to help me become a better writer.
Here’s what I have for the month of January. Since we’re already halfway through, I’m only choosing three.
- They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera (I’m actually ALMOST done with this one and will post a review soon)
- Welcome Home edited by Eric Smith
- Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Have you read any of these titles? Let me know what you thought in the comments below! Happy reading!
